Saipem Wins Osman Gazi FPU Commissioning Scope for Sakarya

Saipem’s new Osman Gazi FPU commissioning-services award follows its OR&A role and extends its involvement in Türkiye’s Sakarya gas development.

Saipem has been awarded a new contract by GOE Petrol Sanayi to provide commissioning services for the Osman Gazi Floating Production Unit (FPU), which is intended for Türkiye’s Sakarya gas field. The work is expected to run for about eight months; no contract value was disclosed.

The award follows Saipem’s Operation Readiness & Assurance support-services contract for the same FPU in April 2026. It extends the company’s role from operational readiness into commissioning support for a complex floating production facility.

Osman Gazi is intended for Sakarya Phase 2 in the Turkish Black Sea. Saipem has also secured major Phase 3 and Göktepe-extension EPCI work, including flowlines and export pipelines. The new award is therefore a discrete commissioning scope within Saipem’s broader, long-running involvement in the Sakarya development.
