Project Overview
Coral Norte FLNG forms part of the Coral field development in Area 4 of the Rovuma Basin offshore Mozambique. The client is Mozambique Rovuma Venture (MRV), and the development is being advanced by Eni and the Area 4 partners. The project is currently under construction.
Facility Concept
The newbuild floating LNG facility uses an enhanced replication of the Coral Sul design and is designed to produce approximately 3.6 million tonnes of LNG per year. The project is being delivered by an EPCIC consortium, and the contract was awarded on 8 June 2026.
