Technip Energies became an independent company in 2021 and is headquartered in Nanterre, France. It is a global engineering and technology company serving energy infrastructure and decarbonization markets. Its two business segments, Project Delivery and Technology, Products and Services, span LNG, hydrogen, ethylene, sustainable chemistry, offshore production facilities and CO₂ management.
According to the company’s 2025 reporting, Technip Energies has more than 18,000 employees across 35 countries, generated €7.2 billion of revenue in 2025 and is listed on Euronext Paris.
Business Model and Core Capabilities
Technip Energies can support projects from concept studies, FEED and process technology through procurement, construction, installation, commissioning and start-up. Its role varies by contract: GranMorgu focuses on FPSO topsides engineering and modularization; Commonwealth LNG uses the SnapLNG by T.EN modular solution; Coral Norte is under FLNG EPCIC; the Qatar North Field projects, Ruwais LNG and Marsa LNG demonstrate large-scale lower-carbon LNG delivery; and Net Zero Teesside Power integrates low-carbon power generation with carbon capture.
Technip Energies and TechnipFMC are separate companies. This page does not include TechnipFMC’s subsea production-system or subsea EPCI business.
