In production

Project Overview

Liza Phase 1 lies in the Stabroek Block offshore Guyana and is operated by ExxonMobil Guyana Limited. Stabroek interests are ExxonMobil Guyana 45%, Hess Guyana 30% and CNOOC Petroleum Guyana 25%. The development achieved first oil through the Liza Destiny FPSO on 20 December 2019.

FPSO and Delivery Model

Liza Destiny is a conversion of the VLCC Tina, with design oil-processing capacity of 120,000 barrels per day and storage of approximately 1.6 million barrels. SBM Offshore led overall construction, installation and initial lease operations, while Keppel completed the VLCC conversion and topsides integration. ExxonMobil Guyana acquired the FPSO in December 2024, and SBM Offshore continues to operate and maintain it through 2033.
